This is a super matte, super opaque purple that I find completely gorgeous. It is a little more slippery in application than Apocalips, but still not slick enough to make application with a brush an exercise in frustration. The formula is not sticky at all, and it lasts for hours with a primer. Lovely!

The look

 I have done a similar look before, blocking the two colors, but felt the combo merited another shot with better lighting and a better camera. This is an ombre with Kontrol and Lime Crime's Chinchilla, a purpled grey that I quite like.

Sorry about the sleepy look; pretty sure I'm blinking, but you can see the ombre effect really well!

Purple Blocking Revisited

Did some blocking! This is a repeat of a lip I did earlier, with a light grey-purple on the top lip and a deeper purple on the bottom.

Homemade Pastel Lipstick on the Lip 4

This next one is the berry red I made. There's another picture of it on me here.

It looks so purple in the tube, and so red on the lips! I think the color of the chapstick I used affected the color in the tube but not on the lip as it applies clear.
